PUMA MOTO!!!

I haven't rode my KLX650 in over a year : (

Anyone who knows me, knows my LUST for Puma clothing and footwear...I even got to be a contributing photographer for a Puma commercial shoot in September 2006. so...when I stalked the Puma website, I came across this in flash, hence the screen shots.

Yes that is a "puma cast" hahahahaha I love that! that was me in 2000 when I fractured my ankle lol. and they should make cast covers like that. i guess then some of us ::ahem:: wouldnt be forced to cut their cast off early : |

I am unsure of what I love more about this: the mechanical joints, or the sole. I am in love!

Now, this just has sexy written all over it! I could rock this with tight jeans and/or a skirt. Great for showing the cute rider in me!

Mark Eric on ABC

I am having a strong urge to get back into my photography. I studied under Janine Coyne in College. Something is saying "get back out there". When I first started the blog I linked a photographer who's work I came across while looking for a boudoir photographer for a bride. I then stumbled across his "Trash the Dress" blog. Which inspired the post for the "my knottie friend..." blog entry.

Well Mark Eric/Trash the Dress was featured on ABC's Saturday Morning Show!!

Here is a link to the broadcast CLICK. Here's a link to the photos on the ABC website CLICK.

These are a couple of teasers from his site. Keep in mind that not all of the images are his, Mark has Photographers all over that send him from their own "TTD" sessions with brides. These from Dawn Earles Photography are gorgeous and have a most chilling essence to them.

Teasers for "The Groom"

I have been relentlessly working on The Brooklyn Bridge invitations. Tyese and Craig's wedding date will be here before you know it and we want the guests to be blown away when this invitation is delivered to them. We were working with this design, a 5X7 Gate fold on 110lb card stock:

Then as it began to wind down to the final processes, we came to a more "functional" approach. The bridge is a very important element of the invitation. I wanted to showcase the length of it and give more of a landscape to the artwork. With the gate fold, the art seemed to distort in order to fit the paper.

So tried a tea length (9X4) as well as this fold over design out:

here's what i came up with:

Tjis of course are just rough product images, we have yet to choose the paper and ribbon...but Craig deserves a teaser as he is the first groom to contact me re: invites :) Tyese will be a lucky woman!

Monica Henk

This is sad to say and to fathom anyone I know to go through it. It has been circulating on the Four Strokes Myspace Page. I figured since i am reposting it on Myspace, that i should also put it here. This was Monica Henk, (click for her myspace)a talented and extremely BEE-UUU-TEE-FULL woman. God bless her.

Artist Monica Henk who used to tattoo at PURE,
was in a terrible hit & run motorcycle accident this past Saturday. She went into a coma and her family made the decision to take her off life support after the doctors determined there was no hope. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has yet to be caught. There is a hefty reward and description of the vehicle below. Please forward the flyer around and help spread the word.
